Pray for the Think Conference, Oct 1-3

It has been many months ago that the news broke that Rick Warren was going to speak at the October Desiring God Conference. There has been so many blogs and discussion on this subject. Now the time is Here!
Time!
What a Gift from God.
Now it is time to pray, if you had not prayed for this conference before. Pray for Rick Warren. Pray that God will use men like R. Albert Mohler, Jr,R. C. Sproul, Thabiti Anyabwile, John Piper, Randy Alcorn,and Tullian Tchividjian. Pray that they will step out of there comfort zone. With their hearts exposed and the Cross of Christ cover their motivation. Ask Rick Warren to gather with them in prayer. And that if some can physically, show their brokenness and love for Rick Warren and bend their knees before him. Praying that if they have said words that were un-Christ like and confess they did not mean to hurt his family. They then would ask for God's forgiveness and also for Rick's. AND! At the same time of bowing of the knee! Plea! Encourage with words that come from the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. To Turn from His present Gospel. Abandon his past thinking and all those that have shaped that thinking. Express to Rick that now is the time to check his foundation. Every word I pray will be covered only with the love from Calvary and that Rick would see that.
This time of pray would not be covered by bloggers or reported to the public but would be private. The only way we would see the answer to this pray is the changed life and ministry of Rick Warren.
Please my brothers! Pray!

17 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. 18 For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive.

This was the closing of John Piper's message:

"So I close with a pointed call to vigilance: Watch out for smooth talkers who pastor large churches, write many books, lead wide ministries, and do not manifestly prize above their earthly good the whole counsel of God.

So to all Bloggers, to all readers, to that have repented and placed their trust in Jesus Christ. Please Pray! Pray that the counsel of God's Word will be clear!

Can Saul become Paul: Rick Warren

Wow!. I can't believe you compared Rick Warren with Saul. Take a deep....... no, never mind. In a few evangelical churches his message and methods would be considered the life fruits of a Saul. One that has placed the Gospel of Jesus Christ before anything else and placed the Gospel higher then anything else are showing the fruits of a Paul. Is this the ministry of Rick Warren in the world stage?
But in Acts 9:1-31. Saul was changed by nothing but a face to face encounter with The Lord Jesus Christ. Back in February and again in March John Piper has announced that Rick Warren has been invited to the Fall Desiring God Conference to speak. Does John Piper know something that we haven't a clue about? Can this meeting with Rick Warren be a reaching out to a Saul.
The best action we can do is to Pray! There is hope! There is Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit using His Word to speak to a life.
